First successfull Bicycle-Collection !
We just have successfully completed the first-raising of our new association
.OffenHerz e.V. in Cloppenburg. I was especially and personally pleased by the active support of Jan Dasenbrock, who has now begun his studies in Oldenburg after successfully completing his apprenticeship in my company in Cloppenburg.
Surely many people from Cloppenburg know that Jan and his family are engaged for many years in the swimming club in Cloppenburg. That's why active volunteers work by local sports clubs is more important than ever.
Equally important was the short-term assistance through the new department "Parkour" from Turnverein Cloppenburg. We have already talked about further joint actions in the forthcoming Advent and Christmas season.
Many thanks also to the coach of the 2nd handball women's team from TV Cloppenburg, Kevin Rake for the uncomplicated and fast help.
Personal contacts to volunteer helpers
Social networking on Facebook, Google or WhatsApp today is just as important as your own modern website, especially for a successful and modern communication in clubs. Networking is important.
Far more valuable, of course, without any question, are personal encounters. I was able to convince myself about that in the St. Andrew's Church in Cloppenburg this morning. The tour de force mass in Lower Saxony located town Cloppenburg, read by Monsignor Peter Kossen was rousing both thanks to the music ensemble as well as thanks to the homily of Monsignor Peter Kossen. Inhuman working conditions of temporary season workers hired by criminal sub-contractors and unworthy accommodations were clearly denounced once again by Monsignore Kossen.
Luckily many of the serious companies in the agricultural and meat industrie from my region Oldenburger Münsterland took already the responsibility back into their own hands and manage the hiring of low-cost workers from foreign countries by themself, or at least test and track the quality of their subcontractors and business partners meticulously. Quality management at all levels identifies from the farms of our region, so far, there is hope, and already significant indications, as well as concrete actions of companies who was forced by the public and the press to answer the one or the other critical question. The broad support of the church community was clearly expressed by applause, which isn't typically the case after usual pray.
Handover of the first bicycles.
Yesterday the first bicycles were handed over to our association. I am particularly happy about the fact that my former coach from the MSC Cloppenburg, cycling department Kalkhoff, has donated the second bike.
In future, we will carry out collection campaigns at regular intervals before Christmas, in order to convert the donated bicycles directly to a central refugee accommodation or transport in another central warehouse,
